The Promise Of 100 Years

I would have thought it impossible for any world leader to be more stupid and plain demented than thankfully-finally-departed US President Joe Biden. But Keir Starmer (pictured), the neophyte Prime Minister of No Longer Great Britain has managed it – and without even breaking a sweat.

On his visit to Kiev in mid-January, Starmer did not merely propose but he actually signed a defense alliance committing to Britain’s military guarantee to Ukraine for 100 years! That is as ridiculous and suicidal for Britain as giving a similar guarantee to the Slave-Owning Confederacy against the United States for 100 years until 1963 would have been at the height of the American Civil War.

That comparison is not a ridiculous or casual one. It almost happened. From 1860 to 1863, the Whig rulers of the British Empire systematically supported, favorably traded with, and sought to protect the Confederate States of America (CSA) in their terrible war with the United States led by Abraham Lincoln. At the end of his life, Britain’s eminent long-serving foreign secretary and prime minister Robert Gascoyne-Cecil, Lord Salisbury, openly lamented that Britain had not boldly used to its opportunity during the Civil War to splinter the United States into fragments before it became an invincible superpower that eclipsed and ultimately forced the dismantling of the British Empire. Confederate General Robert E. Lee led the Army of Northern Virginia to one stunning victory after another over brave Union armies by catastrophically stupid generals, all of whom were appointed by Abraham Lincoln in one murderous bungle after another. And Britain, supported by the French Empire under the Emperor Napoleon III, moved remorselessly towards recognizing the Confederacy as an independent state.

Britain’s finance minister and future prime minister William Ewart Gladstone, the man who actually founded the legendary British Liberal Party and created the free market liberal open borders global ideology that dominated both US ruling parties until the arrival of Donald Trump, even gave a speech at Newcastle upon Tyne on October 7, 1862 in which he praised the slave-owning Confederacy for its military successes and welcomed it as an emerging nation. Gladstone was a billionaire by today’s standards, and his immense personal fortune had been gathered by his own father through being the most successful and biggest trader of African slaves to the Southern states of America.

Britain and France were the two supreme imperialistic and dominant naval powers in the world. Only one other great power could dare to defy them. And that was Russia under Czar Alexander II (pictured). And it was Alexander who saved the United States. The great Liberator Czar had just freed the 24 million serfs of Russia – peacefully and without any rebellion or civil war whatsoever. And he was moving rapidly to industrialize his country so that Britain and France could not invade and ravage it again as they had done during the Crimean War of 1854-55 just a decade before, in which a million Russians had died. So, Alexander boldly sent Russian battle squadrons for months at a time to the great US port cities of New York on the Atlantic and San Francisco on the Pacific. Their crews proved to be wildly popular with the American people. And they served notice that Russia was determined to intervene and protect the integrity of the United States from British and French blockades, invasions and bombardments of its major cities.

Czar Alexander’s bold and decisive action bought crucial time for the United States during which one of Lincoln’s endless successions of Loser Generals, George McClellan, actually managed to avoid a catastrophic defeat for once at the bloody Battle of Antietam on September 17, 1862. That draw was enough of a half-victory to allow Lincoln to issue the Emancipation Proclamation on January 1, 1863 to free all the slaves in rebel states. And that move transformed the US Civil War into a clearcut struggle for human dignity and freedom.

The peoples of Britain and France, to their eternal credit, rallied behind the Union cause, and their imperialist overlords did not dare to recognize the Confederacy after that. Lincoln, with the crucial protection of Czar Alexander, had saved the Union. And both men had also saved Britain from locking itself into an eternal destructive conflict with the United States that would have doomed Britain to isolation and defeat against Germany in the looming world wars of the 20th century.

British leaders Lord Russell (the grandfather of philosopher Bertrand Russell) had presided over the 1845-48 Famine-Genocide in Ireland. Lord Palmerston, still loved and revered in England to this day, was a routine serial rapist of teenage servant girls even into his eighties. And the arch hypocrite Gladstone liked to whip himself naked in front of London prostitutes (he recorded it all in his coded secret diaries). But this time, all three were saved from their own stupidity and wickedness.

But 160 years on, no one has saved Keir Starmer from an even worse folly. On top of his 100-year guarantee to Volodymyr Zelensky’s murderous dictatorship in Kiev, he has promised that regime £3 billion a year in direct additional UK aid. According to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), this new enormous pledge will come on top of the £12.8 billion that the UK has already given to Ukraine and the extra £3 billion per year will continue for “as long as it takes.” Britain’s wonderful, so generous and selfless new aid package will also include the delivery of a new mobile air defense system (still to be even designed – but who’s quibbling about the details). The agreement will also include economic aid, support for healthcare, and increased military collaboration on maritime security and drone technology, the BBC said. The UK will also continue to train Ukrainian troops. More than 50,000 have been trained on British soil so far, the report helpfully noted. It did not specify how many of them have already been killed in the ongoing needless war.

Why did Starmer do it? Does he begin to realize how suicidally dangerous that commitment is going to be for his own country? Does he not even realize that his government and country is economically isolated in the world and teetering on the edge of bankruptcy and national collapse? Does he not even remember his own soul-crushing, plodding, gloomy lectures to the British people as soon as he took office to make immediate, huge, endless sacrifices in order to balance their national budget and live within their means? No. Of course not. He already does not remember any of these things.

Kiev’s ridiculous £3 billion a year new pledge of course delighted the infernal and psychopathic President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine – in reality a self-governing, dignified independent democracy that was smashed by Britain and its European Union and US allies in the infamous 2014 Maidan coup. And well it might! For Zelensky has proven a past master at bamboozling, shaming, and just plain impressing useless idiots like former US President Biden and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to get untold billions in aid to be stolen and wasted as he sent up to three quarters of a million young Ukrainian men to their deaths in an avoidable, needless war to “bleed Russia dry” (It hasn’t). The last thing Britain needs of course is an enormous, open-ended super-costly continuing commitment to Zelensky’s dark, satanic joke of a non-democratic, coercive dictatorial government, which relentlessly hunts down and enslaves its own people as cannon fodder against Russia while shamelessly engaging in the open murder of its critics around the world.

So why did Starmer do it? And why did Britain’s security and – in this case even more important – financial establishment rally loyally behind him as soon as he did? The answer is a very simple one: to quote the catchphrase of the 1976 US movie about the Watergate scandal called, “All the President’s Men,” one simply has to “follow the money.” The City of London today, like the New York bankers and the leaders of the European Union in 2014, have entranced themselves with the myth of enslaving and exploiting the genuinely huge and rich resources of Ukraine. The same sheer ruthlessness and con all-consuming greed lured the German Army to enslave Ukraine in both world wars. The German Imperialists sought to carve the entire vast area out for themselves in the 1918 Treaty of Brest Litovsk imposed upon the Soviet Union. In 1941, Adolf Hitler’s obsessive greed was grafted onto his diabolical genocidal race theories. He sought to wipe out at least 30 million people in Ukraine and other parts of the occupied Soviet Union as World War II – Russia’s Great Patriotic War – was still raging.

Today, the European Union is collapsing as a direct result of its own insane green environmentalist, energy-ignorant, and other economic policies. Britain is in an even worse state. Following the narrow Brexit vote of 2015, which was finally implemented by Boris Johnson’s notorious lying-through-its-teeth government in 2020, Britain is now isolated in the world. Johnson failed miserably to reestablish stable trade ties with the EU, and his responsible but shamefully underrated successor Rishi Sunak never truly had a chance to do so. Now it is Starmer’s turn: And it is already clear that he is totally hopeless. Even ties with the United States are fraying as never before. The British establishment openly colluded with Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton to help her win the 2016 US presidential election. Then, after she lost it anyway, the UK Deep State shamefully colluded with its US counterparts to endlessly conspire against Trump.

With Joe Biden as US president, this far-from-secret Very, Very Special Relationship with the Deep State continued to flourish. Or, rather fester. And British elements have repeatedly been identified in encouraging the Zelensky clique in Kiev to remain in power and continue prosecuting its frightful war at the expense of its own people against Russia.

Still, a 100-year treaty oiled with £3 billion in aid a year is something truly exceptional. What is it possibly meant to achieve?

First, it should be noted that the creation of any century-long binding treaty is an inherent absurdity. No such treaty has endured through all of modern history. Second, Britain no longer has direct absolute control over one quarter of the population, land territories, and resources of the earth anymore as it did for so long through the British Empire. That Empire is now dead and gone for more than 60 years: Its largest elements were dissolved nearly 80 years ago. What we see here is a desperate dream embraced by delusional, despairing lunatics. India is gone! Africa is gone! Australia and Canada are long gone too since the British governments of the 1960s and 70s sold them down the river to join the European Community more than a half a century ago. And because of the idiotic 2015 Brexit referendum vote that was persuaded by lying demagogues and then embraced by an older generation of sleeping British fools (younger people in Britain knew far better), Britain is now cut off from Europe too. There is simply nowhere to go.

Therefore, what to do?

Well, Ukraine is both rich in resources and desperate. And clearly, to English eyes, the Ukrainian people, being Simple Slavs, cannot be trusted to manage their own affairs. Therefore, what could be more natural for the City of London and the British Ruling Class to take over the country and run it for them? After all, everyone knows the British had a unique gift for the government and rule of colonial peoples. Just look at the enduring peace, security, and prosperity they bequeathed to India, Pakistan, Cyprus, Uganda, Nigeria, Palestine, Iraq, Iran, Zimbabwe, and South Africa! But above all else, signing that hundred-year treaty with Zelensky is an act of literal suicide not just for pompous, stupid, inept, and empty Starmer, but for the 75 million people crowded into his tiny island. It is a declaration of total war against Russia. It serves notice that successive British governments and Deep State establishments have now consciously locked themselves into a century-long project to dismantle Russia itself and dominate the rich areas of neighboring Ukraine – and eventually much else across Eurasia – for their own direct profit and greed.

This commitment comes – as the BBC also helpfully noted – after successive British governments since the Maidan coup have carefully trained at least 50,000 Ukrainian troops. To do what? Why to kill scores of thousands of Russian soldiers in the deliberately provoked continuing war of course. But what is Russia expected to do after its own young men have been systematically killed and its population bled white already for more than a decade? And now, far from seeking a sane, humane, and honorable end to the needless war, Starmer’s government has declared its intention to prosecute it on behalf of the Kiev regime for a century. In truth, without limit and without end.

Russia has repeatedly warned Britain and the United States not to cross any more red lines in Ukraine and in attacks on the Russian people in their own country. With the greatest arrogance and racist confidence of the height of their empire, the British political, military, and media establishments have ignored all these sober warnings. They really believe Russia will never dare to wage total war against them. Therefore, they go on provoking it without fear, caution or reason.

However, there can only be one end to such wicked madness. Total annihilation is coming to England. And the English are bringing it on themselves.
