Alessandro Cassieri is an Italian journalist. Special correspondent, anchor and correspondent for the Italian radio television RAI in Brussels, Moscow, and Paris.

He prepared investigations and reports from China, the USA, Chechnya, North Korea, Panama, South Africa, Japan, Nigeria, Turkey, Thailand, Kalimantan, Argentina, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Brazil, Myanmar, Mozambique, Paraguay, Morocco, Egypt, Israel, Macau, Libya.

He was a war correspondent in Rwanda, Algeria, Yemen, Congo, Afghanistan, Iraq, Mali, and Ukraine.

In total, he has covered events, crises and conflicts in more than 80 countries.

In the course of his work, he conducted exclusive interviews with numerous international personalities, such as Arafat, Gorbachev, Aziz, Bush, Massoud, Shevardnadze, Tymoshenko, Yanukovych, Papandreou, Poroshenko, Albright, Medvedev, McCain, Giscard d’Estaing.
