Luciano Canfora is Professor Emeritus at the University of Bari and Head of the Department of History, Culture and History of San Marino at the University of the Republic of San Marino. He serves as editor of Quaderni di storia and contributes to Corriere della Sera. He specializes in Greek literature, the history of the reception of Greek and Latin texts, papyrology, ancient historiography, and the modern reception of the classical world.
