Martin Sieff

Martin Sieff is a senior fellow at the American University in Moscow and a regular op-ed contributor to the China Daily.

Mr. Sieff has two degrees in Modern History from the University of Oxford.

He is the former Chief Foreign Correspondent of the Washington Times and the former Chief News Analyst, Chief Political Correspondent and Managing Editor, International Affairs for United Press International. He has received three Pulitzer Prize nominations for International Reporting

Sieff is the author of seven published books including “Cycles of Change: The Political Patterns of US History from Thomas Jefferson to Barack Obama” (2015) and “Gathering Storm: The Seventh Era of American History and the Coming Crises That Will Lead to It” (2015).
