Paolo Deganutti

Paolo Deganutti, born in Trieste in 1952, worked as a bookseller and publishing agent for almost 50 years; also worked as a journalist, which got him registered in the Order of Journalists since 1977. He wrote the following articles on the topics covered in the book, published by the geopolitical journal Limes: “The free port of Trieste is liked by Central Europe and China. Italy is somewhere else,” Limes #4 – 2017; “We have returned to Habsburg splendor: a conversation with Zeno D’Agostino, President of the Eastern Adriatic Port Authority,” Limes #4 – 2017; “Trieste’s irresistible otherness,” Limes #10 – 2019. He wrote several articles for the online publication Limes on topics covered in the book: “The Free Port of Trieste is a reality: let’s not waste it,” 14.09.2017; “Trieste as European hub of the new silk road: from hypothesis to reality,” 20.09.2018; “The international role of Friuli-Venezia Giulia is an advantage for Italy. A conversation with Massimiliano Fedriga, President of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region,” 18.10.2018. He organized many geopolitical conferences with Limes Club Trieste and Club Geopolitica Trieste, where he is one of the animators.
