New York Times/Siena Poll Says Kamala Harris Leads in US Presidential Election

The latest data shows the vice president ahead of Trump by 3 percentage points

With less than a month to go until the US presidential election scheduled for November 5, Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris is slightly ahead of Donald Trump.

This follows from the latest poll, conducted by the New York Times – Siena College between September 29 and October 6, which shows 49% preference for Harris, while Trump is said to be stuck at 46%. A poll conducted in September by the same team gave both candidates 47%, and at no time since July, when the Democratic Party decided to replace Joe Biden with Harris, has the vice president been seen as a potential winner. Either way, it seems clear that the November 5 election will be one of the most bitterly contested and uncertain presidential elections in history.
