USA: Biden Still Leads Trump In Fundraising

One of the key aspects of the US presidential election is fundraising. This is a very relevant question, given that the primary elections will take place from February to August 2024, and the next president will be elected on November 6 of the same year.

In this “race,” Joe Biden is superior to his presumptive rival, Donald Trump. For the second quarter in a row, the head of the White House is ahead of his opponent. From July to September, Joe Biden raised $71 million from the Democratic National Committee. Trump and his supporters raised only $45.5 million.

From April to June, the gap was even greater: then Biden’s fundraising was twice that of his opponent’s – $72 million versus $35 million. According to ABC News, which provides data from Biden’s campaign committee, the president already has $91 million in the coffers. This is $14 million more than at the beginning of the quarter. The message clarifies that 97% of donations are small, less than $200. The average donation from Biden supporters is $40.
