The Democratic candidate's campaign has reportedly raised a billion dollars in three months
At a time when polls are increasingly uncertain and candidates are trying to pick up every last vote in swing states, particularly Pennsylvania, Kamala Harris’s campaign has set a new record.
It’s the highest fundraising ever, meaning in the last three months, from July through September, when the Democratic candidate, the staff helping her, and various committees raised a staggering one billion dollars. This is reported by the New York Times. In September alone, $359 million was raised, while Donald Trump’s campaign raised “only” $160 million during the same period.
Meanwhile, according to analyst reports, after the boost given to Harris by the Democratic Party convention in August and the televised debate in September, the “momentum” now seems to be in Trump’s favor to make up for the modest disadvantage accumulated in recent months.
